Muranoglass Toys is an ambitious project that has been set up in an innovative way: instead of an exhibition of glass creations where the rules are “look but don’t touch”, it is an interactive, multimedia installation in a room where visitors can play and be carried back to their younger years by the amazing sights.

Participating in the initiative are 13 Murano master glassmakers from 13 companies that are authorized to display the Vetro Artistico® Murano trademark. They have put themselves to the test by espousing a subject that has little in common with the areas covered in their usual output. The Murano Glass Toys project is promoted by Consorzio Promovetro Murano, with contributions from the Veneto Region and the Venice and Rovigo Chamber of Commerce, as well as support from the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia and Venice City Council.
